NEW SUMMER 2019!! 

The Source is offering a series of 3-hour outdoor climbing sessions to current Source Climbing Team members and Competitors during the summer of 2019.

Activities will include hiking, top-rope climbing and bouldering depending on the destination. Participants must provide their own transportation to and from the climbing destination. We recommend carpooling when possible as travel times may vary from 30 minutes up to 3 hours depending on the destination.

Under-Enrolled Trips: Under-enrolled Trips (fewer than 3 participants) are subject to cancellation 7 days prior to the trip date. Your guide will send and email two weeks in advance that provides more specific details related to your trip.  

Cost:  Each trip is $94/participant

Prerequisites: Must be a 2018/19 Team Member 12 years of age or older.


    Activities: Moderate approach hike, Bouldering, limited Top-Rope Climbing 5.6-5.11

    Getting There: Horsethief Butte is located in COLUMBIA HILLS STATE PARK. Take I-84 East for 92 miles to US-197 N (exit 87) in The Dalles. Travel 9 miles further on US-197 N then WA-14 E to Horsethief Lake State Park Rd in Klickitat County, WA. Estimated travel time from Vancouver is 1 hour and 40 minutes. 



    Activities: Short approach hike, Top-Rope Climbing 5.6-5.11, limited bouldering

    Getting There: From Vancouver, travel east on Hwy 14 for 41 miles to parking area on south side of highway. Estimated travel time from Vancouver is 45 minutes

    Getting There: Estimated travel time from Vancouver is 1 hour and 10 minutes.

    Drive east on Hwy 14 for 50 miles to Berge Rd. Turn left and continue for 3.8 miles to a small dirt road on the right just before the end of the paved road.
